Coastlands Care Inc. is the outreach and charitable arm of Coastlands Church, extending its long-standing commitment to connection, compassion, and hope. We provide targeted assistance to individuals and families in Southern Adelaide experiencing vulnerability, hardship, social isolation, or loneliness.

A Serving Community
Community Cafe
Held twice a month, the Café offers a safe, welcoming space for the local community to connect, share conversation, and enjoy free barista coffee, morning tea, and donated food packs. Demand has doubled in the past year, with 70 registered participants, an average of 35 attendees each fortnight, and over 270 food packs distributed in 2025. It is particularly valued by older residents, young families, people with disability (including NDIS participants), carers, people experiencing homelessness, and those from middle-SEIFA suburbs facing hardship for the first time.
Community Assistance
This program provides practical crisis support such as paying urgent bills, supplying medication, providing groceries, assisting with house relocations, and undertaking basic home maintenance. It also offers English language and social support for recent migrants, helping them navigate local services and feel welcomed into the community.
Life Skills
Short, practical courses build everyday capabilities and wellbeing. Topics include budgeting and financial skills (CAP Money Course), Positive Communication, and Interpersonal Skills. These equip participants to manage resources, strengthen relationships, and participate more confidently in community life.
All programs are volunteer-led and supported through donations from church members and partnerships with local organisations, enabling rapid responses to need while fostering belonging and resilience.
