Beginners are welcome to come to these workshops, however they are more aimed at intermediate and advanced levels (exception would be for Presentation)
Bass Guitar

Outline: Playing as part of a team, appropriate playing, listening and some scale patterns to improve playing and technique.
Electric Guitar
Led by: Brett Egel
Level: intermediate to advanced
Chordal voicing, harmony, substitution & scale patterns and how to use them.
Accoustic Guitar
Led by: Mark Boehm
Level: Easy acoustic guitar for worship.
A workshop for homegroup musicians & beginner worship leaders. Learn how to play any worship song in any key with just a guitar and capo. BYO guitar and capo.
Keyboard
Led by: Sara Sizer / Nathan Carger
Possibility of two classes depending on numbers.
- Theory including chord progressions, chord voicing and colours. Keyboards in application to modern worship teams.
- What to do in ministry time and how to flow better in the Spirit. Learning chord extensions and substitutions.
Presentation
Led by: Ali Pretorius
Aesthetics (décor). Helping and equipping people to see the importance of creating an atmosphere that reflects God’s creativity and excellence.
Dance
Led by: Stacey Greenham
Contemporary dance base with some jazz elements. Intermediate / advanced will focus on technique and composing a group choreography. Previous experience is beneficial. Great opportunity to refine your skills.
Singing
Led by: Tracy Radbone
Practical workshop for people wanting to do harmonies in singing. The who, what, when & how of harmonies.
Song Writing
Led by: Jonny Pretorius
Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, with the emphasis on prophetic songs.
Sound

Question and answer time on how to solve problems and achieve what you are looking for.
Multimedia
Led by: Ben Thompson
Explore the practical and spiritual sides of how to utilise multimedia in worship.
Drums
Led by: Paul Collinson
Playing as part of a team, volume control, tuning, listening, appropriate playing and adapting technique to our context.
Painting
Led by: Vivonne Amoy
Practical, hands on prophetic painting. BYO small canvas and/or sketch pad.
