After an ambulance ride from one hospital to another, numerous tests and an overnight stay etc, an appointment was made with my GP to get scans done for a suspicious gall bladder.

 

The scans showed several gall stones with the largest being 1.5cm in diameter.

 

I was scheduled for a 6 week road trip of the USA and knew there was not time for a specialist consultation, so I decided to speak to the stones in Jesus name and asked several people to keep me in prayer. I commanded the stones to be crushed to powder and to leave my body without doing any harm, and dealt with the few small attacks I had through January the same way.

 

The whole time I was in the USA I did not suffer any attacks and it was 3 months later that I had an attack that was so bad I thought I was in labour except it was the wrong part of my body. I rang my GP who sent a referral to the specialist and an appointment came up a month later.

 

During that month the number of attacks increased, but I continued to speak to the stones in Jesus name and after a particularly nasty attack I asked my home group to pray. Later Bob told me that during that time of prayer he had seen the stones dissolve and leave my body.  

 

I was attack free for a short time, but on the 4th of July I awoke at midnight to the worst of the attacks I had experienced yet...Happy Birthday Debra...and the day was a wave of one attack after another. A series of attacks continued throughout the weekend and prayer for a speedy hospitalization went up by many.

 

On the 10th July 2008 I received a phone call telling me I was scheduled for surgery on the 17th July 2008. God answered prayer, and what can take a year or more became a reality in just 27 days...thank you Jesus!

 

There were 7 stones removed and recovery began.

 

It was several days after the surgery when it dawned on me that the 1.5cm stone that was shown in the scans in December was NOT in the jar with the other stones! I slowly realized that the only possible solution to that was that God had honoured His word and prayer, and THAT stone had dissolved and left my body without damaging any organs.

 

I am still in awe of how He chooses to work and am very grateful for how He orchestrated the fulfilling of my needs in all of this.

 

I am now not only giving thanks to Him for having healed me of Pitting Glaucloma but the dissolving of one big mother of a gall stone!
